Tips:

Good, but Not the Best,
I’ve tried this accessory as well as other remote wheels for Mario Kart. This accessory, while being the official Wii version, is good, there is no question. It fits with the remote perfectly and the quality is nice, yet I have a couple of problems with this version:
-The material lends to allowing sweat accumulation
-It is more uncomfortable than other versions of the remote (made of a plastic-type material)
Other than that, this remote is good, yet I would recommend that you look at the Nerf versions of the Wii wheel instead: the wheel is softer, just as functional, and the price is lower ($9.99 at the time of this review).
Hope this helps!

|Great product, first-party quality.,
I’ve owned the regular white version of this, as well as the Japanese Club Nintendo gold exclusive. While I actually prefer the GameCube controller for Mario Kart, sometimes we as gamers need to let loose a little, and this Wii Wheel provides a fun, albeit sometimes frustrating, alternative to a more lighthearted driving experience.
One can actually drive in Mario Kart without the Wii Wheel (in case you don’t know by now), so you’re essentially paying for a $10 piece of plastic. Nevertheless, it makes controlling and steering more comfortable, and the matte black goes great with the newer black Wii remotes. The Wii logo on the back is a nice, shiny silver instead of the blue on the white Wii Wheels, so it fits the color scheme more handsomely.

|Excelent controller,
This is an excelent buy option for enjoy the Mario Kart Wii, I buy it for my wife and both of us have lots of fun playing whit this, but it’s a bit tricky to advance in the 1-player mode if you’re used to N64 or Game Cube controllers, in that case it’s better to play whit the nunchuk. For family/friends fun purpouse, this is a must.
